Language & Culture

The main feature of the language of Shailakupa upazila is similar to the other upazilas of Bangladesh. This upazila is a pure language spoken area. Common Bengali language of Jessore, Kushtia, Magura area is also known in Shailakupa area. The birthplace of the poet Golam Mustafa in Manoharpur village of Shailkupa upazila. The official culture organizations that are working in shalekupa are:

   * Upazila Shilpakala Academy, Shailkupa

   * Boishakhi artifacts.

   * Shailkupa Upazila Language Club has been established in the chairmanship of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer for the study of perfect language.
