Business

There is no significant industrial factory in Shailkupa upazila. However, Shailkupa Upazila produces lots of agricultural product and due to the huge demand of agricultural products across the country, this upazila is spreading in business and trade. In particular, there are lots of rice production in this upazila. Besides, crops like jute, sugarcane, pulses etc. are abundant. This upazila is famous for banana cultivation. There are many places in the country including Dhaka, bananas from shailkupa are being sold.
