Shailkupa is about 250 km from capital city Dhaka, and about 22 km from the district town Jhenaidah. The main communications with the upazila to capital city and district city is high way. Shyamoli, JR, Chuadanga Deluxe, Purbasha etc. from the Dhaka Gabtali bus terminal to Shailakupa can be seen directly. Or to go to any bus from Jhenaidah to Dhaka and then from Arabpur to to Shailakupa.
