Natural Resources

Shailakupa, Jhenaidah is a plain land. There is no high-lying mountain / tila or big river in this upazila. As Shailkupa Upazila is a fertile land of agricultural produce, there are no record in the upazila for any mineral resources. However, through the Shailakupa upazila, sand is found in the river flowing in the Kumar. Various development activities are carried out in Shailkupa upazila with this sand.
