People of Shailkupa upazila are entertaining. With the field of Shailkupa Governmenr degree college, there are in various fields, cricket and football are played regularly. There are also regular football, cricket and rural sports in different playgrounds of Shailkupa upazila. Soccer, Volleyball Team from Shailkupa Upazila gained the pride of playing at the national level.

Football: There is a tradition of Shailkupa in football. There are strong teams of Shailkupa upazila in football. Besides, Shailkupa Doharo Government Primary School in Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnessa Mujib Gold Cup Football Tournament also achieved the glory of playing national level several times. The girls' football team of this school has achieved the distinction of being runner-up at national level in 2016. In 2010, again Khulna Division champion, the team will be left to play at the national level.

Volleyball: There is also a tradition of playing volleyball in the shalekupa. Here is a good player of volleyball game. Govindpur Secondary School of Shailakupa upazila has achieved the pride of becoming national champion in the 2016 School Volleyball Competition.
Ladies Kabaddi: Shailkupar Shekhpara Rahatunnessa is a wonderful Kabaddi team of women in secondary school. The team is the champion in the upazila level every year.
Cricket: Various Cricket Tournaments are organized every year in Shailkupa. Apart from the tournament organized by Upazila Sports Association, these games were held at the initiative of different organizations.
Swimming: There are some good players on the board of Maubon Secondary School in Shailkupa upazila. The tradition of the school is available in the school.
